Problem with Thief Job Quest!

Hi!
I have a problem with the Thief Job Quest,
After doing everything related with the novice quest
I start the journey of being a Thief, but when I talk with The Thief Guide she answer: "Isn't that cute? I can see you're ambitious but gotta learn all of the basic skills before you can become a thief"
And I don't know what to do after that

Please could everyone help me?

Open your skills window (CTRL-S) and you'll be able to put skill points into your Novice skills. You'll be able to add Thief skills the same way once you job change.

If you went through Training Grounds (instead of straight to Prontera) when starting, you should have seen an NPC talking about this. If you're new to Ragnarok I suggest you redo the Training Grounds with another char so you can learn all the basics.
