Lv. 1 to Lv. 14 High Novice: Lunatic (map: prt_fild01)
Weapon: Knife [4] gift from Valkyrie
Lunatic gives higher base EXP than Drops and Poring so you get your stats up fast. Make sure to reach Lv. 14 (so you can wield chain as weapon on your next job change).
Lv. 14 to Lv. 27 High Acolyte: Mandragora (map: prt_fild02)
Weapon: +7 Fire Chain
Mandragoras are soft. However, if you fail to find an elemental chain, purchase a Chain [2] from the Nun inside Prontera Church and upgrade it using Emveretarcon.
As for skills, start off with Increase AGI 5 for movement speed, max Blessing then AGI at both 10. Remember, you are not a support character, these buffs are for you. Leave Heal at 3. Don’t waste points on Cure and Pneuma, instead get Warp Portal 3 so you can plan on soloing MVPs.
This map (prt_fild02) gives access to early income if you are just starting out as a Novice. Sell Shoots (100 z) and Stems (1,000 z) to buyers in Prontera, don’t sell them to NPC. Next goal is to reach Lv. 27, so you can equip a stunner.
Lv. 27 to Lv. 37: Pecopeco (map: moc_fild02)
Weapon: +5 VVS Ice Stunner / Brutal Buckler
As an alternative, you may purchase a regular stunner from the NPC at moc_ruins (125, 135) for 60,000 z. From this point on, carry with you fly wings and meat or monster food to bail out of sticky mob situations.
Lv. 37 to Lv. 47: Wolf (map: pay_fild02)
Weapon: +5 VVS Fire Stunner / Brutal Buckler
At this stage, a fire stunner is worth the investment since you would be grinding from here on out.
Lv. 47 to Lv. 60: Savage (map: prt_fild10)
Weapon: +5 VVS Fire Stunner / Brutal Buckler
Using the same weapon and shield, move to Savages when things get slow.
Lv. 60 to Lv. 70 Job 50: Sohee (map: pay_dun03)
Weapon: +5 VVS Wind Stunner / Brutal Buckler
You’d definitely need wind element here. Add points to max Demon Bane at 10 and use Concentration Potion to increase damage per second. A Brutal buckler is still useful to soften attacks from Nine Tails which is a brute monster.
Bucklers compounded w/ Khalitzburg and Teddy Bear cards are unnecessary, because Divine Protection 10 is already a great passive skill against Sohee [Demon] and Munak/Bongun [Undead].
